Tim Whaley

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. William Timothy (Tim) Whaley, age 61, of, Buena Vista, GA died Saturday February 4, 2012 at his home. A memorial service will be held Saturday February 11, 2012 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home, Ellaville, GA with Rev. David Chapman, Tommy Barnes, and Ricky Page officiating.

Tim was born May 22, 1950 in Sumter County, GA, the son of Harvey Hill Whaley and Virginia Rainey Whaley. He had lived most of his life in Schley County and was a self employed General Contractor with T & R Custom Builders. Tim was a member of the Buck Creek Stag Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, entertaining, good music and having a good time. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Young Whaley; one daughter, P J Wilson and husband Jesse of Ellaville, one sister, Robbie Ann Woolbright and husband Charlie of Cordele, sister in law, Rosaland Whaley of Ellaville, GA two grandchildren, Avery Clements and Austin Griggs, two nephews, Terry Whaley and wife Shelby, and Chuck Woolbright, two nieces, Staci Taylor and husband Todd, and Dawn Hardison and husband Terry. Several great nieces and nephews also survive. Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tommy Whaley.

The Buck Creek Stag Club will serve as honorary pallbearers.
