Tony Lee Belcher

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Tony Lee Belcher, age 50, of Ellaville, GA died Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at his residence. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, September 9, 2011 at County Line United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Troy Fripp and Rev. Mark Kinservick will officiate.
Mr. Belcher was born March 2, 1961 in Jacksonville, Florida and was the son of the late Albert Marvin Belcher and Mary McMath Belcher. He had worked at Pine Timber in Oglethorpe for 15 years. Mr. Belcher was an avid fisherman and was a member of Bass Masters. He also enjoyed NASCAR. Mr. Belcher was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include four brothers, Larry Belcher and wife Mary of Ellaville, Ed Belcher and wife Becky of Ellaville, John Belcher and wife Annita of Ellaville, and Albert M. Belcher Jr. and wife Brenda of Smithsburg, MD; one sister, Patricia Ann Hemperley and husband Alton of Bossier City, LA. A number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, Mr. Belcher was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Belcher and a sister, Sandra Kegebein.
Pallbearers will include Terry Belcher, Brian Belcher, John Belcher, Colby Belcher, Andy Belcher, and Augie Kegebein. Honorary pallbearers will include Andy Underwood, John Mathews, Eddie Henry, and Jack Kearbey.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville.
