Vera Dianne Green

Mrs. Vera Dianne Caraway Green, 71, of Buena Vista, GA, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Magnolia Manor of Marion County in Buena Vista, GA. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the residence of Shannon and David Mincey, 3686 Hwy 26W, Buena Vista, GA.

Mrs. Green was born in Columbus, GA, on November 20, 1951, to Lannas Eugene Caraway, Sr. and Callie Marcilla Lewis Caraway. A favorite hobby of hers was watching Alabama football just to see her grandson in the marching band.  Mrs. Green loved playing cards with her sister Pat every week. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Green, Sr., by a sister, Margean Gavins, and a brother, Lannas Eugene Caraway, Jr. (Butch).

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Michelle Green, Jr. and a daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and David Mincey; two sisters, Donnie Copeland and Patricia Hornsby; and two grandchildren, Kody Mincey and Zack Mincey.
