Verdie Helen Davis

Ms. Verdie Helen Davis, 72, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center.  Services will be private.

Ms. Davis was born November 14, 1945 in New Jersey.  She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and loved attending and reading her Bible.  Ms. Davis enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by a grandson, Brock Jones.

Survivors include her daughters, Donna Hudson of Preston, GA and Dina Jones of Smith Station, AL; a son, Jerry and Dawn Jones, Jr of Preston, GA; five grandchildren, Allison Grimes (Rusty), Cadie Kelley (William), Dale Merrit, Skyler Motes, Trey Jones (Caitlin) and Summer Jones; four great-grandchildren, Russ Grimes, Mason Taylor, Weston Kelley and William Reed Kelley.
