Vicki Harris Justice

Mrs. Vicki Harris Justice, 72 of Ellaville, passed away at Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center on Thursday, August 26, 2021.   Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Ellaville Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Braswell and Rev. Joel Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Ellaville City Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Joey Menendez, Jacob Menendez, Chad Brown, Ryan Brown, Greg Barfield, and Roger Bivins. Friends and family can visit with Mrs. Justice at Way-Watson Funeral Home in Ellaville on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 10:00AM – 5:00PM.  The family can be seen at 86 W. College St., Ellaville, GA.

            Mrs. Justice was born June 15, 1949 in Ellenwood, GA to the late Curtis Harris and Mattie Lou Braswell.  She was a member of Ellaville Baptist Church and was retired from the United States Postal Service after 33 years.  Mrs. Justice had true love for her family, and loved spending time and cooking for them.  She absolutely adored her grandchildren and was the best mama to her kids.  Mrs. Justice enjoyed spending time working on her family’s genealogy and discovering her ancestors.    

            Survivors include her devoted husband of 52 years, Wilbur Justice of Ellaville; two sons, Brian Justice and his wife Jo of Ellaville, and Jason Justice and his wife, Dawn of Ellaville; a brother, Robbie Brown and his wife, Kay of Ellaville; three sisters, Iris Menendez and her husband, Joe of Elgin, SC, Wanda Powers and her husband, Desse of Ellaville, and Virginia Newcomb and her husband, Todd of Ellaville; five grandchildren, Caleb Justice (Rebecca), Anna Sims (Keith), Mary Catherine Carrano (Sergio), Liberty Ann Justice, and Dixie Jewel Justice; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
