Walter (Al) McLemore

ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Walter (Al) A. McLemore III, age 47, of Andersonville, GA died Thursday morning, September 25, 2014 at his home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church in Americus with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Reverend Hugh Harbort will officiate.

     Mr. McLemore was born May 17, 1967 in Sumter County, GA.  He was an IT Specialist with Southerland Global.  Mr. McLemore was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

     Survivors include his wife, B. J. McLemore, one son, Jake McLemore; one daughter, Alli McLemore; mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Ty Powell of Ellaville; two brothers and sister in law, Rick and Sherry McLemore of Ellaville, Phillip McLemore of Hudson, FL; one sister and brother in law, Maria and Ken Goodman of Andersonville.  Mr. McLemore was preceded in death by his father, Walter McLemore, Jr.

     Pallbearers will include Lathan Crenshaw, Daniel Jones, Chris Morton, Jimmy Wright, Johnny King, and Alvin Varnum.

    Visitation will be held at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home Friday, September 26, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charity of one’s choice.
