Wayne Robinson Morrow, Jr.

Mr. Wayne R. Morrow, Jr., 69, of Ellaville, passed away peacefully at his residence after an extended illness. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Way-Watson Funeral Home in Ellaville. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM in Andrew Chapel Church, 5864 US Hwy 19 South, Ellaville, GA with Rev. Rickey Rushing, Rev. Joy Wilson and Rev. Dan Craft officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the bus drivers of the Schley County School System.

Mr. Morrow was born December 2, 1955, in Thomaston, GA to Wayne R., Sr. and Nora Stevens Morrow. His greatest passion in life was youth and leading them to Christ. Mr. Morrow was a member and Pastor of Andrew Chapel Church. He was an avid motorcycle and classic Mopar car enthusiast. Mr. Morrow was an Eagle Scout and Scoutmaster for over 30 years. He also drove the school bus for the Schley County School System for many years and loved all the children that were on his bus over the years. Mr. Morrow cherished his family and spending time with them, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and even his grand-dogs. His devotion to Christ was always displayed in his daily life.

Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Freida Morrow; his parents, Wayne R., Sr. and Nora Morrow; his three children, Wayne R. Morrow, III and his wife, Kelly, Brandi Morrow Kitchens and her husband, Michael and James Morrow and his wife, Kendall; his sister, Malinda McKinney and her husband, Ken; four grandchildren, Alexis Nelson (Clay), Audrey Morrow, Brantley Kitchens, and Briggs Morrow; two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Meredith; a brother-in-law, Doane Stanfield; a sister-in-law, Paige Bradford; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Andrew Chapel Church, 5864 US Hwy 19 South, Ellaville, GA 31806.
