ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Wayne Stuckey, 64, died Wednesday evening, May 20, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 2:00PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery. Rev. Mark Williams and Rev. Chris Wooden will officiate. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Mr. Stuckey was born July 1, 1950 in Schley County, GA to the late Lewis and Margaret Stuckey. He was a welder and painter, having been employed by Greenfield Metal Products. Mr. Stuckey loved to make people laugh.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Smith-Stuckey of Americus; two daughters, Angela Stuckey Warren of Andersonville, GA, Daysiah Thomas of Americus, GA; three step sons, Robbie Bryant of Atlanta, GA, James Hogan of Columbus, GA, Kenny Hogan of Americus, GA; two sisters, Dot Crook of Americus, GA, Peggy Regacho of Valparaiso, FL; three brothers, Buddy Stuckey and wife Sally of Americus, Larry Stuckey and wife Marie of Andersonville, GA, Roy Stuckey and wife Coltil of Panama City, FL. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, Jessica Livengood, Joshua Hogan, Felisha Thomas, Matthew Hogan, Heather Grace Hogan, Rafael Hogan, Hayley Livengood, James Hogan, Jessica Warren, Daniel Warren and a number nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers will include Jeremy Stuckey, Donnie Stuckey, Matthew Hogan, David Wooden, Joshua Hogan and Rafael Hogan.
Watson-Giddens Funeral Home of Ellaville, GA is in charge of arrangements.
