Wesley Lee Lane

Mr. Wesley Lee Lane, 70, of Buena Vista, passed away on February 24, 2018 at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in the chapel of Watson-Tante Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Tazewell Cemetery.  The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. 

Mr. Lane was born November 12, 1947 to the late John Wesley and Ola Mae Cromer Lane in Macon County,GA.  He was retired from American General as an insurance salesman, and he truly loved his job.  His passion for others was shown through his work and daily life.  Mr. Lane was an avid golfer, going to play at least once a week.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lane was preceded in death by two brothers, Randy Lane and Tommy Lane and a sister, Norma Murphy.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Lane of Buena Vista; a son, Craig Lane and his wife, Leslie of Buena Vista; a granddaughter, Hunter; a great-grandson, Brock; a brother, Forrest Lane and his wife, Mable of Buena Vista; a sister, Luneal Pugh and her husband, Robert of Grove Hill, AL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
