William "Bill" Orien Shoemaker, Jr.

Mr. William Orien “Bill” Shoemaker, Jr., 73, of Box Springs, GA, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at his residence.  A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00PM on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Lakeview Full Gospel Church.

Mr. Shoemaker was born March 16, 1945, in Frankfort, IN, to William Orien Shoemaker, Sr.  and Vera Cheney Shoemaker. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Mr. Shoemaker  had been employed in construction, as well as a truck driver and forklift operator. He had worked for Glover Frozen Foods.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristina Shoemaker, a grandson, SSG Jamie Jarboe, by two sisters, Zelma Gleason and Helen Moore and a brother, John Shoemaker.

He is survived by a daughter, Joy Lynn Dunn of Mauk, GA; by a sister, Eva Mae Walker of Muncie, IN; and by several nieces and nephews.
