William Eugene Taylor

Vienna, GA --- Mr. William Eugene Taylor, age 68, of 1660 Campers Haven Road, Vienna, GA died Friday, April 13, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, April 15, 2012 in the Chapel of Watson -Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville, GA with burial to follow in the Ellaville cemetery. Rev. Curtis Kirksey will officiate.

Mr. Taylor was born January 18, 1944 in Columbus, GA, the son of the late Cloia Taylor. He was a truck driver, worked at Champion for years and was a member of Bakerfield Road Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Ann Clark Taylor, one daughter Wendy Ann Taylor Harrison (Eddie) of Norman Park, Ga; two sons, David Eugene Taylor (Tammy) of Americus, Warren Taylor (Jennifer) of Cordele, GA, one sister Sue Ann Branch (Lamar) of Smith Station, Alabama, four grandchildren, Ashley Blalock (Keith), April Harrison Ingle (Jerry), Amber Harrison and Dillon Taylor and 4 great grandchildren

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home prior to the service from 1:00 until 3:00 PM.

Pallbearers will include Buck Hart, Shane Wade, Nyles Platten, Eddie Harrison, Robbie Bentley, and Steve Fowler.
