ELLAVILLE, GA --- Mr. Woodford (Woody) Otto Hagan, Jr., age 69, of Ellaville, GA died Sunday, February 9, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at County Line Baptist Church, with Rev. Randy Harris and Rev. Tommy McConnell officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 12:30PM. Funeral services will also be held at 2:00PM Friday, February 14, 2014 at Bay Lake Missionary Baptist Church in Groveland, FL. Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 12:00PM. Burial will follow in the Mascotte City Cemetery.
Mr. Hagan was born November 26, 1944 in Winter Garden, FL. He was the son of the late Woodford Otto Hagan, Sr. and Ethel Wilson Hagan. He had served in the Army and worked in commercial construction. Mr. Hagan enjoyed outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing. He coached little league football and baseball. Mr. Hagan was a member of County Line Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Hagan; two sons, William Otto Hagan and wife Brenda of Ellaville, Christopher Lee Hagan and wife Ashley of Leesburg, FL; two daughters, Tammy Vandemer and husband Michael of Winter Garden, FL, Charlotte Renee Hagan and husband George of Warm Springs, GA; six sisters, Margaret Crawford and husband Junior of Winter Garden, FL, Peggy Hagan of Clermont, FL, Linda Hall and husband Bobby of Clermont, FL, Pat Johnson of Winter Garden FL, Sherry Wise and husband Junior of Winter Garden, FL, Mona Best and husband Terry of Winter Garden, FL. Nineteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hagan was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristy Lynn Hagan and a sister, Ernestine Peters.
Pallbearers will include Jackie Mason, Charles Gardner, Chad Anderson, Chris Hagan, Terry Best and Junior Wise.
Watson-Giddens Funeral Home of Ellaville, GA is in charge of arrangements.
